ABOUT US

Atlantic Landscape Construction, Inc. is a full-service landscape construction and design firm begun in 1975 in Washington County, Maine by a husband and wife team. Owners Tim and Sam Francis bought the old Merrill Apple Orchard just outside of Ellsworth in 2001, moving their operation south. This move placed the company in a central location allowing for more efficient service to clientele.

Atlantic Landscape has built a reputation on its ability to implement professional designs while staying within budget and on schedule. In addition, we have an in-house design team, enabling us to offer master planning and design services for any landscape project. Our capability to see a landscape project from start to finish ensures that the client's desires are carried through to the end result.

Our company specializes in the installation of large-scale plant material and has the equipment and the experience necessary to do so without having to rely on outside contractors. Atlantic Landscape employs 15 year-round staff, with up to 50 personnel during the construction season, and is a fully insured company.

Professional Memberships include: The Beatrix Farrand Society; Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce; Ellsworth Garden Club; Friends of Acadia; Irrigation Association of New England. Mr Francis serves on the Board of Corporators for Machias Savings Bank.
