Native Sod Harvesting
As a company that strives to design and install landscapes reflecting the surrounding environment, native ground covers are utilized in many of our projects. Ground covers are shallow-rooted plants that are best harvested in mats to maintain a larger root system. This method decreases transplant shock, giving your landscape a lusher, fuller look the same season. Sods that are commonly harvested include: Lowbush Blueberry, Huckleberry, Hay-scented Fern, Haircap Moss, Sphagnum Moss, Wintergreen, and Bunchberry.
